Beginning October 3rd, 2015, the mortgage process changed to the new T.R.I.D. process. If you have never purchased a home with a mortgage, you’ll know no different. However, if you have, I think you will see more strict deadlines for paperwork, more interactions with your mortgage company, longer timeframes to close (at least in the beginning while they all figure out their processes) & more lenders are attending closings than I’ve ever experienced.
