- Event benefits Pat’s Place Child Advocacy Center (you should know about them)
- Local breweries serving their awesome brews (Bayne, Birdsong, D9 & Old Town Public House), music to dance the night away, food to keep you going, live auction and raffle to keep thing interesting.

Ok, there are way too many things to post only one but these are a few of my favorites…
- 3/12: Galway Hooker’s Famous Annual Block party is 3/12 starting at noon
- 3/12-13: Latta Celtic Festival, 10am-4pm, Latta Plantation **family friendly**
- 3/12: Green River Revival at US National Whitewater Center, 10am – Color Me Green 5k run, noon-4pm – live music
- 3/17: Galway Hooker’s St. Patrick’s Day Celebration starts at 8am with breakfast, live music starts at noon
- 3/19: Charlotte’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade down Tryon & Festival, 10am – 6pm **family friendly**
